Thawing out, Marching onwards | Updates
It’s about time to return to posting about work.
The winter has been productive. After the prototype for the Burning Sky, I have spent two months working for Trioskaz on a project that I am very excited for. They are a very tight-knit community of creatives, and it has been a veritable pleasure to do the basic architecture for their project. And it has been a learning experience too, working on an evolving vision and anticipating use cases. Time to add “systems design” to my CV.
Come March, I have finished my duties for Trioskaz to prepare for a very lucrative opportunity this summer. Not to jinx it, I can only say that I am working on a mechanical prototype for the Harvest of Names: II will share more content come summer.
Overall, I think I have finally transitioned to working with games full-time: until now, this was complicated by PhD applications and the pangs of settling after seven years abroad. I am hopeful.
